Isagenix Shake Review

Isagenix Isalean Meal Replacement Shake Review Rating

Isagenix Isalean shakes have been getting more and more popular. I personally had no idea why, since I’d never tried that meal replacement shake before. So I thought it was about time that I did. Here’s my review.

PRICE: B

You can buy a tub of Isagenix for about 40 bucks. That’ll get you 14 servings, which is roughly $2.85 a shake. That price isn’t terrible, but it’s not that great either. I would say it’s about middle of the road.

TASTE: A

Isagenix shakes come in three different flavors: Creamy French Vanilla, Creamy Dutch Chocolate, and (surprisingly) Black Sesame. As you know, I’m not an adventurous girl. So the thought of a black sesame-flavored shake freaked me out a little. I went with reliable old chocolate instead. It was actually pretty tasty. No chalkiness whatsoever. Definite thumbs up from me.

APPETITE BLOCKER: A+

This is one meal replacement shake that kept me full for a long time. Seriously, it was hours before I was hungry again. Maybe it was the 8 grams of fiber or the 24 grams protein in each shake. Or maybe it was just the overall thickness. Whatever it was, it definitely kept my hunger demons away for a while.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE: C

This shake was doing so well until I checked out the nutritional value. Isagenix Isalean contains 240 calories per serving, which is substantially higher than most of the other shakes I tried. It also has 11 grams of sugar and 6 grams of fat. Those aren’t Big Mac numbers or anything, but for a meal replacement shake, they’ve got to do better than that.

Overall, Isagenix shakes are tasty and they can really curb your appetite. But there are more nutritious options that you might want to explore first.

The reason the Isagenix shakes have more sugar and fat than the competition is due to the fact that they are all natural. They don’t load them with unhealthy artificail sweetners to get them to taste good. You don’t want artificial sweetners like aspartame and sucralose in your shakes for the same reason you shouldn’t drink diet soft drinks.

I bought the 30 day isagenix program. I lost 15 lbs in 20 days and the shakes are by far the best part of the regime! The chocolate and French vanilla are both an A+ in my book. I found neither one to be too sweet. Just right. I like them so much, I will buy them again even at that price. The independently packaged shake portions were perfect for my work life. I am almost out now and am searching for something a little cheaper that I enjoy half as much.

    Good luck!
