The Oster Versa Performance blender is known for being a high quality blender at the fraction of the price. Compared to some of its competitors, it comes in around $221. But should you spend a couple hundred on this machine? Find out in my review.
Even though Oster Versa’s price is lower than other machines, its blending capacity is still up to par. With its 1400 watt, mega-horsepower and stainless steel blade, this machine knows how to get the job done. It easily makes smooth protein drinks, guacamole, sauces, sorbets, smoothies, and more. Granted, it does take a little bit longer to blend than the Vitamix’s of the world. And sometimes (on the rare occasion), it leaves a little bit of fruit pieces behind, but it still does a great job. For the price, you can’t top it.
The Oster Performance blender definitely has a sleek design. It almost looks too fancy to keep in your kitchen. What’s great is that it comes with three programmed settings (smoothie, soup, dips/spreads). You can actually start up the machine on one of those settings, walk away, and not even think about it. It will blend your ingredients at the right speed and stop once everything is mixed. It also comes with a free tamper and two cookbooks/recipes with your purchase.
The Oster does get a little noisy, but it’s not as loud as other commercial blenders. But then again, the machine works. So you have to give it a slight pass.
This is a very durable blender. It has a sturdy base, which prevents it from slipping during use. What’s nice is that it has the warranty of higher end blenders — 7 years. So you’ll never have to worry about what could happen to this machine, because the warranty’s got you covered.
This is a great machine for the money. If you’re looking for something that’s high end and won’t break the bank, the Oster Versa Performance blender is a good choice. So if you’re not ready to spend that Vitamix or Blendtec money, then this is definitely a good option.
